Teen St. Pedro, the Musical

We were privileged to watch the "TEEN SAINT PEDRO, THE MUSICAL" last night in Meralco Theater for Free! Courtesy of Couples for Christ! This was in lieu of our monthly Mission Core Teaching.

"Teen St. Pedro, the Musical” is a stage play on the life of the young St. Pedro Calungsod of Cebu, the second Filipino saint to be canonized on Oct. 21 at the Vatican City. He was a young Roman Catholic Filipino migrant, sacristan and missionary catechist, who along with Blessed Diego Luis de San Vitores, suffered religious persecution and martyrdom on Guam for their missionary work in 1672. Through Calungsod and San Vitores' missionary efforts, many native Chamorros converted to Roman Catholicism.

St. Pedro Calungsod’s life is an example of what faith in the Lord can do, of how one life can move others and of how the glory of God can be honored.
